The first thing we notice when we walk into a Muscat villa is not the floors. It is the air. After a dusty shamal week, or a long summer with the AC running nonstop, homes in Qurum, Madinat Qaboos, and Al Mawaleh hold a fine film you cannot wipe with a quick mop.
We have been doing villa deep cleaning across Muscat since 2016. This is what a real job day looks like — not a brochure list, but the order our supervisors actually follow.
We start where dirt hides, not where it shows
Most homeowners expect us to begin with the living room. We usually begin with the kitchen and bathrooms. Grease, soap scum, and bathroom humidity spread faster than visible dust, especially in coastal areas like Azaiba and The Wave.
In kitchens we degrease cabinet faces, extractors, splashbacks, and the gap behind the fridge. In bathrooms we sanitize wet zones, polish fixtures, and clear drains that slow down after sand and hair build-up.
Room-by-room deep clean — what “deep” means here
Deep cleaning in Muscat is not the same as a weekly maid service. Dust settles on ceiling fans, curtain rails, skirting, AC vents, and wardrobe tops. If you only clean eye-level surfaces, the house looks fine for two days, then feels dusty again.
- High dusting: fans, vents, ledges, and light fittings
- Kitchen degreasing and appliance exteriors
- Bathroom scale removal and full sanitization
- Bedrooms, wardrobes exteriors, and under-bed vacuuming
- Living areas, glass, and balcony floors
- Final floor scrub or mop depending on surface type
How long does a villa deep clean take?
A typical 3–4 bedroom villa in Al Khuwair or Bausher takes one full team visit — often half a day to a full day depending on condition. Post-renovation homes and end-of-tenancy cleans take longer because of paint dust and silicone residue.
We always ask for photos or a short WhatsApp video before quoting. That saves you from surprise pricing and helps us bring the right machines.
When villa owners usually call us
Before guests arrive for Eid or a family visit. After a move-in when the previous tenant left sticky cupboards. Before listing a property for rent. And after summer when AC filters and vents have been working overtime.
If your villa looks “okay” but never feels truly fresh, that is usually a deep-clean problem — not a daily-cleaning problem.
